Take any example of a successful person who has really reached success in the business field of his choice, and you will see that all of them have the same qualities. What are those qualities? They all have a clear goal, they work hard and have strong will to overcome all obstacles in their way to success.

But there is also one other quality that separates them from the rest people. It is their focus, their ability to focus attention on the goals that they have set once. The efforts are really important if you want to complete any task, but the focus is the main factor that determines how well you will accomplish your tasks, how quick you will succeed.  


The Value of Focus

To imagine what is the focus, just  remember the experiment you probably made being a child with a lens in order to cause the inter flow of the sun’s rays and how you watched in awe when a scrap of paper placed under the lens caught fire? This, precisely, is what the focus is all about.

When the sun's rays scatter everywhere, they could not have the ability to generate such strong heat causing flame, but using a lens for the focus the same sun rays and suddenly you get really magical results.

The same happens with your business. You can have even the greatest ideas, you may have the most brilliant plans, but without setting your sights clearly on what you want to achieve and without follow it through with true focus, you will not reach your goals.

How to Develop Your Focus

If you compare the focus with motivation or perseverance, it is often easier to develop. Focus does not require anything new to learn. You just must let go some of your habits that distract you from the most important thing - achieving your goal. 

What will help you to develop focus:

  • Stop Doing Too Much

How many activities you have throughout the day? List them all and try to look at each individually and think about do you really need to do it. If it is possible, pass on the task to someone else. Some things you may do simply as a matter of habit, and if they  do not contribute you in any meaningful way, simply stop doing them. Stop doing those things that are not an absolute necessity for you at the present moment. If you follow this advice, you will find it easier to focus on those tasks that really are most important.

  •  Prioritize 
Never blindly jump into getting any things done, but always pick the tasks that are most important. Make "to do" list and sort out your tasks arranging them according to how any task is urgent or important. Prioritizing tasks will help you avoid such activities that drain your energy and time. After you cut out something that was not important, you will find it easier to do things what you need to do in order to achieve your goal.

  • Get Rid of Distractions
Focus Sometimes very simple thing can divert our mind from necessary task and serve as a distraction: an interesting article we want to read, an e-mail from a friend or even a conversation in the office. Such distraction tends to make us lose not only our valuable time, but also our focus. 

So, we must take steps to keep any distraction away: put in order your desk, your computer and your home and you sure will find it easier to focus on the tasks. Take off the headphones to cut out distracting music, turn off the television and even your phone. Say to people that you will be busy and out for the next few hours and shut the door of your room. 

  • The Bottom Line

The wold around us is competitive and we believe that multi-tasking is essential for achieving success, but it can simply cause damage by draining us. The best choice is to stick to one goal at a time and work on achieving your one goal and only them move on to another one.

What is positiveness? It is thinking only of good things. And we know that it's not so easy as it seems at first glance. Statistically, people tend to think more about failures than success.  What the reason is? The positive thinking requires of us much more energy than a pessimistic thoughts.

It is a big job to maintain optimistic thoughts and call yourself an optimist. But if you try it, soon you will see that thinking about good things improves your life greatly. If it's hard for you to think positively, you should learn to do it.

  • No matter what happens, never let yourself to think of bad things.

Even if it is not true, better imagine that everything is great. There is always the possibility that very soon everything will be OK for real and positive thinking can help easier overcome it. 


  • Always think only good about other people

Also, you can say a compliment, but say it sincerely. Simply treat all people kindly, and no one will have a desire to irritate and disappoint you. If you treat them kindle, most likely they will change their behavior.


  •  Don’t rush to make fast conclusions

But visualization should be positive. So, close your eyes and breathe slowly, deeply. Imagine that you are healthy, successful, happy and confident. Your visualization depends on what you want to achieve in life. One session's duration - 1-3 minutes. Do it regularly in order to make visualization technique more effective.

Why setting goals is essential for your business success

Years ago, when I just started working with online projects, I wondered why there were some marketers who seemed succeeded at everything whatever they worked with. And there also were ones who seemed could not achieve anything, all time failed whatever they tried. Now I know that this difference between successful ones and losers is in the setting goals and reviewing them regularly. 

There is a study on a goals showing that 80% of people don’t have goals. 16% of  of people have goals, but do not write them down. Only 3% of people write their goals down, but don't review them on a regular basis. And only 1%  of people write goals down and review them regularly. And what you think? This 1% is the most successful people. 

No matter what we want to achieve, big or just a little, we must to set our goals, because goals are not only for those who dream big. Every goal starts with a simple desire, even if we want just a little, even if we want less work or less responsibility - this is also a goal to achieve. 

Now a question, what you do with your desires and wishes? There are two ways: ignore them and let them fade away of your mind with a time, or listen to your wishes, start taking actions and finally get what you wanted in life.

You may end up at a certain age having things which you did not really want in your life, too far away from the life you wanted to live. Without setting goals you will not know what you need to do in order to get where you want.

Setting goals will sure increase your chances of success. But there are some other benefits:
  • Setting goals makes your actions more focused, your actions involve process of turning your vision into reality.
  • Goals keep you inspired and motivated even in days when you are not in a good mood to take any actions; your goals give you the impulse that helps you to keep going.
  • Setting goals and reviewing them in a regular basis is like keeping holding up your vision in front of your eyes daily, and it gives you targeted direction; it helps you to keep moving closer and closer to what you really want.
  • When you set your goals, you are able to accomplish much more in just a few months compare to what other achieve in years; you faster will see better results that you even did not imagine.

The best if your goals motivate you as this means that they are important to you, that you see a value in achieving them. If you care little in the outcome, or your goals are irrelevant when you see a larger picture, then the chances for success are too little. Motivation is top key to achieve your goals.

Set a goals that are tie up with your high priorities or you will end up with too many goals and there will be not enough time to achieve them all. Goals achievement always requires your commitment and the attitude " I must do it".

  • Set smart goals
Goals must be powerful, designed to be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time bound.

Specific goal - clear and well defined goal, providing sufficient direction. Goals itself should show you the way.

Measurable goals - include precise dates and amounts. Without measuring your goals you will miss its celebration when time will come.

Attainable goals - you must be sure that it is possible to achieve your goal, otherwise it will demoralize you and simply erode your confidence.

Relevant goals - goals must be relevant to the direction you want your life would take you. In this way you will develop the right focus to get ahead. If your goals will be inconsistent - you will fritter your life and time away. 

Set time-bound goals - what ever your goal would not be, it must have a deadline. you need it for to know when to celebrate your success. If you are working on a deadline, you know when you could celebrate achievement of your goal.
  • Write down your goal
It's not a joke, believe me, writing down your goal makes it tangible and real. After, you could not find any excuses for forgetting it. Never use words " I would like to" when writing down your goal. Instead write " I will.." Don't forget to define a time period for your goal achievement.

Post your goal in such place where you can see them daily.

  • Make a plan of your actions
Do not miss this step. Do not focus only on an outcome - for achieving your goal you must define step by step how you will achieve it. Write down individual steps and mark them as completed when finish it. This will show your progress in very clear way. Especially important to do it if your goal is big and for achieving it needs a lot of time.

  • Stick with it
Create a reminders for yourself for to stay on a track. Constantly review your goals and correct actions plan if something going not as it was defined. But always make sure that the value, relevance and necessity still remain high.

The Courage to Live Consciously

It is very important to take an action despite you have fears of failing


But how to do it if fear usually stops you?  It is all about your quality, your character trait, the value that people call courage. All people must develop their courage again and again, if  they want to realize their own true potential, to make their lives fulfilling, to make a contribution to our nice world. 

Courage is the same mental skill like other skills are, where you get better and better at it when you use it more and more. Do not think that it is just some kind of  hype or only an emotion; courage is a skill where you reason intellectually and  scienfically to reach a conclusive decision.

Courage does not mean in any way that you must take urgent or drastic action in most life situations. No, courage is a learned skill, which requires your practice and conditioning like lifting weights builds stronger your muscles. When you start a gym, you never try to lift the largest weight in the first day, you just start small and work your way up. The very same is with overcoming your fears.

People very often live out the expectations from their parents,  friends, colleagues or neighbours, in short expectations of society. People forget that they can make concious choices about how to live their own life.

Most people are full of  fears and fearing they deny more powerful life they could have. Live your life consciously - eliminate your FEARS. Exactly fears restricts us from going after what we really want. 

When people fear something, they simply resist it. 

Fear of failure... Fear of going broke... Fear of public speaking... Fear of physical discomfort... Fear of rejection... Fear of being alone... Fear of humiliation... Fear of being ostracized by family and friends... Fear of success...

 How many of such and similar fears are holding you back?

  Fear is what keeps your growth and evolution as a conscious human being STAGNANT.

personal developmentEvery human being's main concern is SECURITY. We all are taught from the young age to not take any unnecessary risk, not draw attention to ourselves in public. We are taught not to talk to strangers and keep our eyes out for very suspicious people, we are taught not to be too bold and brave. We should stay safe and do not take any risks.

And then growing we instead of setting our own goals and making plans how to achieve them, instead of going after them with gusto, we just play it safe: we keep working at the stable job, even though we do not like it, we remain in the unsatisfying relationship, even though we feel dead inside compared to the passion we once had... And so on...

 Who are we to think that we can break the system? Simply accept your lot in life, try to make the best of it. Go with the flow, be as all "normal" people are... And so, the only hope your is that the currents of life will pull you in a favorable direction...

Sure, there really exist some real dangers in life that you must avoid. But there’s a huge gulf between the recklessness and courage. I’m not encouraging you for the heroic courage required to risk your life for something. I am talking about the ability to face down those imaginary fears and reclaim the more powerful life that you could have. 

Imagine, how would you live if you had no fear at all? 
I believe, you still have common sense and your intelligence to safely navigate around any true dangers, but also your would be more willing to take risks. What if you speak up more often your ideas, thoughts, opinions, what if you talk more to strangers, ask for more sales, or dive headlong into  ambitious projects you have been dreaming about long time? Maybe you even learned to enjoy the things that you currently fear...

What kind of difference it could make for your life?

There always are logical reasons why you don’t do certain things, right? You think, it would be rude to introduce yourself to a strangers. You think, that if you have not anything to say, you should not attempt public speaking... Think about how would change your life if you could confidently and courageously without any fear to do things you always wanted, but stayed away. 

 The ones who success are ones who take risks in life. No one can simply sit back in his own secure little world and expect to get ahead. 

If you want to get ahead,  you should have the courage to meet strangers,draw attention to yourself for good cause and speak out in public. Doing this you can create new opportunities for your growth through new experiences, new ideas and new people. 

The courage to live courageously means the ability to face your imaginary fears and live more powerful life that you have possibly denied for yourself. 
 Too many people have limited beliefs about what they can or can not do. All these beliefs are just illusions they have created for themselves. Don’t believe in limited beliefs as there are no such beliefs.

Even courageous people sometimes still afraid, but difference is that they don’t let fear paralyze them. Courageous people attack the fear instead of letting fear attack their beliefs, and overcome limited beliefs.

personal developmentAll people would be on the same page if no one took any risk. We would stop evolve. We can’t get better if we don’t take risk. We stay the same, we move into self-conscious hole of security that doesn’t have room for opportunity to grow as personality.

If you want to live consciously  then recognize your fear, learn what your fear is about and how it affects you and your life, then consciously work to eliminate it.

No one says, it is an easy process, but it is certainly possible to do. If it was easy task, there would not be any fear at all, and we would be all successful. But that is not the case, because as a society we value our security over risk way too much.  

As an individual, you sure have the choice to take risk, because it is your life and you can do whatever you want with it. Do not let any limited beliefs or anyone to hold you back. Do not let any limiting beliefs to hold you back. Once you let go all you fears and worries, you also create channels of opportunity to grow as a conscious human being. 

 To live consciously means to live spiritually making an effort to align your personality with your higher self , with your soul. Living consciously you are at peace with yourself and the world. Your life is happy and fulfilling and yourself you are abundant in any meaning: spiritually and mentally, physically and financially. You don’t need wealth to live consciously,  but when you live consciously wealth comes to you.

Living consciously you find purpose and meaning in every situation that you face, you appreciate and love life in its every form, your life becomes rich and meaningful. You become enthusiastic, purposeful and fearless about your life, you use strong will to go after your goals.   

 Where this new and developing courage could bring you to? I believe, it will lead you to more meaningful, fulfilling and fun life. You will develop your greatest strengths, talents and gifts. You will live more consciously than ever before. Instead of reacting to events, you will actively create your own productive, positive and fun future.

You have two choices – either live life with courage and consciousness to face your fears and live in potential and power, or give up and run away. But be aware of the consequences of both choices. If your choice is to give up and let your fear to win - when life simply becomes stagnant.
 
If your choice is to live life consciously - yes, you may make mistakes, you may meet really weird people, you may get rejected, you may get broke, but that is a part of the package of the courage-filled life. Feel the fear, but call the courage to live, take action and follow your life’s ambition.

Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

We all have our own goals, dreams and plans, but even simplest goals to achieve takes our persistence. In order to be successful, we must to work out our dreams. Successful people who people who are ready to do even what they do not feel like doing.

 Success will surely come to us if we set our goals consistently and work at them persistently. Persistence is not our ability or knowledge level, but our ability to stick to any task in a persistent and consistent persistent manner.   
  
Sometimes we are striving, setting and achieving goals and then suddenly we got nothing, we hit the wall, draw a blank,  we can not do or not know more what the next step should be.

 Law of Attraction says that to what we give our focus, our attention and energy, that we attract into our lives. No difference do we want it or not. Do not fear anything in life. Recognize your fears and dare to face the things that scare you - open door to freedom. If you walk boldly through your fears, you will see how most of your obstacles will melt away. Don't cover your fears and do not  procrastinate, but make up your mind and deal with them.

Take steps you need and make positive changes for your life. Only acting you can fight your fears. If you wait, postpone or putt off, 

it only increase your fears.

Don't break when things are not going your way. Be secure to such degree that you would not fear accept changes. True security will come when you be able to bend your insecurity. 

Accept fact that changes are inevitable in our life. You will
feel secure not by standing in comfort zone, but by moving, growing, moving, and being energized. You will feel secure knowing that you can deal with everything what happens to you.

Be courageous to bet on your dreams and ideas. For that you have to take some calculated risks and go for your dreams. 


Remember, there is no permanent security for anyone on this earth,

If you have to choose between getting something done and getting it perfect, then get it done. Your desire for perfection can't become excuse for never finish something what you started.

Just  manage time and resources that you have in best way you can. Even if you get not perfect results, it still brings great value for you. 


Perfection by all means must be your goal, but sure that it will not become your excuse. Always be true and go only for the highest standards that you can imagine, but at the same time you also must be
 realistic about what you are doing.

 Your majestic visions will be useless to you if it is not expressed in tangible form - even if you accomplish it not perfect, just go ahead
 and get it done as best as you can. 

To achieve ninety five percent of your imaginations is still much better than if you hold out and never get it done for hundred percent. 


Remember, even if it will not be done perfect and others will not like what you done - go ahead and deliver the value you can create for yourself.

If it is possible to use some positive impulse for your life, then make it. First make your choice and go for some actions to bring some new and real positive value right away. Never wait for time
 when things get better than it is now. 

You can take it and make yourself and your life better. It is no matter what else may be going on, there is always more goodness within you than you think, and you are able to make true difference when you are giving some of this goodness to the world surrounding you. 

Even one your genuine positive action is able to change your day's dynamic. Think about how much more effectiveness could bring some impulse and just get busy to do something that could put it to your day.

There is no such situation where you could not have a chance to choose. You must stop to think about all those things that you can not do, instead better think about those things that you can really do. It does not matter what is the level you have of your abilities, you still have potential
 to go for things you want.

We all have powers we never dreamed about. We can do things that we never thought we could ever do. There are no any limitations to what we can do in our life. All these limitations are just in our mind and they

 forbid us from real actions.

Rememeber, the range of available choices for you right now is limitless. Always look at things as they could be.
